Welcome to the official website of the Denton Police Department. As we continue to explore new and innovative ways to increase our community's accessibility to our Department and the services that we provide, this new site has been developed with our citizens in mind. Denton Police Department Receives Award from Midshore Council on Family Violence
Midshore Council on Family Violence presented the Denton Police Department with their Community Award on June 3, 2010 at their annual awards ceremony. The award was given in recognition of the Department’s support to Midshore for participating in various events sponsored by Midshore and for implementing the Lethality Assessment Program. The Department was also presented a Maryland Senate Citation by Senator Richard Colburn and a Maryland General Assembly Citation presented by Delegates Addie Eckardt and Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio. The Denton Police Department is honored to be the recipient of these awards and looks forward to working with Midshore Council on Family Violence to benefit the citizens of Denton and Caroline County.
Chief Rodney Cox, Mayor Conway Gregory and Lt. George Bacorn receive the awards on behalf of the Denton Police Department.
